Beauty Of A Woman

~~ Beauty of a Woman ~~

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears,
The figure she carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes,
Because that is the doorway to her heart,
The place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole,
But true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.
It is the caring that she lovingly gives,
The passion that she shows.
The beauty of a woman
With time, only grows..

A few weeks ago CWJC had a booth at a Wal-Mart Volunteer Fair and we had a GREAT turn out!!!  I can't say enough how blessed it is to be a part of this organization!  I have seen this organization help so many women in different ways and it is a blessing to report that my mentee from last year just got a job at Wal-Mart Home Office!  I couldn't be prouder of her!!!!  GREAT Job Brandy!!!!

2012 Eureka Car Show

A few weekends ago, some friends and I spent the day in Eureka for the annual car show!  It took us two and half hours to get there when it normally should take maybe 45 min.  We made several little stops to be silly and/or because somebody was feeling sick.  The roads between Bentonville and Eureka are curvy and crazy!

When we got to Eureka we looked at sweet cars....

The boys found some awesome sword umbrellas.

Then on our way home, we made more pit stops.....this time it was mainly for my obsession of taking photos of cows and old houses.  :)

Overall, our little day trip to Eureka was a blast!  Even Matt had fun!!

Oh and here is a shot of the cute dress and pair of shoes I found on sale! I LOVE this dress!

What I'm Loving Wednesday ~ God, Love, and Fall Fun

I am LOVE LOVE LOVING that I have SO much to be thankful for!  Life is so amazing and I'm so thankful for an amazing God who honors my commitment to Him.  Not my perfection (because then there would be nothing to honor since I'm SO FAR from perfect) but my commitment to my faith! I believe in His LOVE and His GRACE and I totally commit every day to showing others that same love and grace that He so lovingly showers me with EVERY DAY!!!!!

I am loving that my relationship with Michael is growing so deep and amazingly precious....God has blessed me with a chance to love him and I am totally committed to loving Michael the way he deserves to be loved!  I could go on and on with all the amazing ways this man loves me and all the things I love about him but you would probably get bored with my mush fest and then you would never come back to read me! Just know that I'm totally in love!!!!!

I am also loving that my message yesterday to the Christian Women's Job Corp ladies was awesome!  God came through for them and used me to teach and love on these women and I'm so honored that God has chosen me as somebody to love for Him!  I'm so excited to see what God has in store for these amazing and talented young women!!!  I feel so blessed to be a part of their lives and journey!!!!!!!

I am loving the fallish weather (and wintry at times)!  I have been wearing my boots and scarfs and everything fallish!  I ADORE fall fashion!!!!

I am loving that I get to sit by my little Jenny Bear and we get to decorate our desks with lots of fall loveliness

I am loving that my next two months are filling up with photo shoots!  God is blessing me with amazing clients and I'm so excited to see what memories I can capture for these wonderful families who are entrusting me with their family portraits!!!!  Such a blessing!!!!!  Let me know if you want to book with me!!!!  Have a few more slots open!

The Enemy Uses Our Prideful Hearts For His Evil

"It is the holiness of God that compels our hearts to cry out for the grace of God." ~Max Lucado

Grace, humility, joy, repentance, forgiveness, love..... words that many people use several times a day, yet do not put much thought into them as they say them. Whether we realize it or not, these words are powerful! It is holiness that produces humility and grace that is applied to humility. It is repentance that produces joy and forgiveness that is applied to love. We live in a world that teaches us to wear masks to impress others and a world that teaches us we can never get away from the pasts that haunt most of us. We attempt to tell ourselves, "well I'm not as bad as him," or "well, at least I don't....," or "well I know how she is," or "well I heard once he...." and we do this to make ourselves feel better for our own skeletons, secrets, or sins. I will never understand why putting somebody else down is the oldest mechanism for self-worthiness. You know what really happens when we do this? We don't really start to feel better about ourselves but we then start to build pride in our own hearts.

I'm starting to understand why God wants to protect us from gossip and being a "busy body". Not only does this prevent hurting our brothers and sisters but this also prevents us from hurting ourselves. Pride, another ugly word that most of us do not even realize we have marinating in our own hearts, minds, and souls. It's there folks. Every time you judge another person, every time you tell yourself that your life is "better" than somebody else's life, every time you help somebody and expect something in return, every time you turn an apology away from a loved one because "they did you wrong and you just can't,", every time we think our sin is not as bad as somebody else's sin, and every time we gossip about others. Pride! It's hurtful! We have the power to hurt others with our pride!

Some people will read this today and not even realize the pride they hold in their own heart or the damage this does to a soul, relationships, image, and most importantly to a relationship with God. The enemy will use pride to destroy us inside and to destroy the relationships around us. The enemy will use pride to steal the love we have in ourselves to share with others. Pride! Such an ugly word and an ugly sin! If we have prideful hearts, how can we be able to accept the free gift of grace? The answer is simple, we can't. So, I challenge you today to pray and ask God to forgive you and to cleanse your heart and replace pride with grace. It can and will be done folks, if you ask for it! He is waiting to fill us with mercy and grace. He is waiting for us to cleanse our heart and soul and to show love to our neighbors, family, friends, and enemies. Don't let pride keep you from grace, joy, love, or forgiveness. It will if you allow it to.

"The Lord laughs at those who laugh at Him, but He gives grace to those who are not proud." Proverbs 3:34

"If you respect the Lord, you will also hate evil. I hate pride and bragging, evil ways and lies." Proverbs 8:13

"Pride leads only to shame; it is wise to be humble." Proverbs 11:2

"Whoever loves pure thoughts and kind words will have even the King as a friend." Proverbs 22:11

"if you are selfish and have bitter jealousy in your hearts, do not brag. Your bragging is a lie that hides the truth." James 3:14

"People who work for peace in a peaceful way plant a good crop of right-living." James 3:18

High Five For Friday ~ God And Love And All That Good Stuff

High Five Number One ~ High five to a week that zoomed by!  I was super busy this week but it went by fast and now it's the weekend! WOOT WOOT!

High Five Number Two ~ This Wednesday was First Wednesday at Church and I LOVED it!  LOVED IT!  The Lord's Presence was so powerful and there is nothing like lifting your hands to glorify Him!  Such a peaceful and amazing time!

High Five Number Three ~ My Women's group at Church is PHENOM and it is the amazing women that make it so blessed!  I am learning so much from these wise women and I'm building great friendships!  Love them!

High Five Number Four ~ Super small thing but it is just another reason why I love my man so much.... on our way to Sam's yesterday we were passing by some guys mowing on my side of the road.  As we got closer to them he rolled up my window so that the grass didn't make me sneeze (been having bad allergies) then rolled it down when we passed.  He takes care of every little detail of my life!  I can't believe how blessed I am that God chose me to love this man of mine!!!!!

High Five Number Five ~ We took the dogs to First Friday on the Square tonight and they LOVED it!!!!!  All three of my loves are knocked out right now from all the fun we had.  I on the other hand, having a hard time sleeping.... wah wah waaaaah.....

Life is great!  So super blessed and amazingly happy!!!!!

Jenny's Quartermania Birthday Party

A few weeks ago we celebrated our sweet friend's birthday.  When I asked Jenny what she wanted to do, she quickly blurted out "QUARTERMANIA", so that's what we did.  On Thursday nights, Fastlanes offer a night where everything is only a quarter and they call it "Quartermania".

Our group of friends loves Quartermania, so it wasn't a big surprise when Jenny wanted to do this for her birthday!

We enjoyed bowling....

Video Games....

Laser Tag....

Go Carts....

and best of all showing this girl how much we love her!!!!

I'm very blessed to have Jenny in my life and to share such a special friendship with her!  She is such a sweet person and anybody who comes in contact with her, leaves blessed!  She always has a smile on her face and is always so friendly and loving!  What a special girl!  It was an honor to celebrate her special day with her!

Love ya Jenny!

Hailey's Visit

One of my best friends came in to visit me last month.  We were going to make September's First Wed Of The Month at my Church but unfortunately the service ended up being in Springdale.  So, we decided to be adventurous and try out a new Church.  We weren't too moved by it but we were glad to get some Jesus fix for the week!

I absolutely love this girl!  We've been through so much over the years and I have no idea what I would do with out her!  I admire her more than words can say!  I am hoping she will visit and stay with us tomorrow for October's First Wed at Church!  FINGERS CROSSED!  :)
