Sunday Social ~ End Of Summer

1. What was your favorite trip/vacation/activity this summer?

My favorite activity this summer was the family trip to CO that pretty much kicked off the summer!!!  We traveled to CO to celebrate Alec's graduation and it was an amazing time with family!!!!  Definitely a memorable family trip!

2. What was your favorite outfit look/clothing item of the summer?  I definitely loved my summer dresses this summer! 

3. What is one thing you wish you’d gotten to do this summer? Take a trip to Arkansas to see my friends but hopefully that will be a good fall trip!  The trees are beautiful that way during the fall season!

Hell Raiser always freaked me out!!!!!!

Sunday Social ~ Family, Love, and God

It’s Sunday and y’all know what that means- Sunday Social!  

  What is your ideal way to relax?

Even though I have never been to the beach....I am assuming it is super relaxing and super beautiful, so that is my "ideal" way to relax.....someday, someday, someday... 

My general way of relaxing is my booty in front of the tube watching reality shows all day! Don't judge....

Where is your favorite place to be?

My favorite place to be is Seattle! I LOVE that place!  So much to do and the atmosphere is sooooo laid back!  I'm pretty sure I was meant to live there....

Who do you consider your biggest role model?

My biggest role models are these three lovely ladies!!! My Mommy in the pink, my Great Aunt (Sister Celine), and my Aunt Ofelia!  My Mom and my Aunt Ofelia lost their dad when my Aunt was a baby and when my Mom was still in my grandmother's belly.  These three women are amazing women who have endured hardship yet remain amazing!  My Aunt Sister Celine is the most amazing woman I have ever come into contact with.  Every time I am around her I feel so blessed and at peace.  I am blessed to just have her in my life, much less share the same blood as this woman!  LOVE HER and I miss her so much and can't wait to see her again! 

What does your life look like in 3 years?

Hopefully married to an amazing man of God with either a baby or one on the way and a successful photography business.

If you could go back and change one decision what would it be?

Not allowing God to take over my life sooner than what I did.  However, I did learn lots of valuable lessons and He has certainly used them for His plan either way!

What is your biggest accomplishment in life thus far?

I would say handing over my life to Christ and I mean FULLY handing it over to Him.  For the longest time I rode the fence but the day I made the choice to quit drinking and partying and to fully give Him ALL of me, that was the BEST day of my life!!!!!!  I owe that decision to these group of friends!  They each contributed to my growth with Him in one way or another and I'm SO THANKFUL to have been blessed with such amazing people!!!!!!!

1. Favorite childhood book

Considering I was a book nerd growing up, I have a TON of favorite childhood books.  I had a hard time picking my favorite, so here are a few of my favorites....

This would be freakin' AWESOME! 

Sure it might be creepy to fly around in a giant peach with dancing insects BUT it would be pretty cool after getting over the creep out of it all....haha

4. If you could be any character from a book who would it be and why?

Allie of course....I love her character in this movie!!!  Super precious love story!

Sunday Social ~ All About Our Childhoods

This week's Sunday Social topic is "All About Our Childhoods". Ready? Go!

1. What do you miss most about being a kid? I miss spending time with my family the most, especially my sister and cousins.  Being older and living away from home now makes me miss those times and my family a LOT, especially since losing Rachel and Raul.  Makes me really cherish those days and the joy we all had when we were younger!

2. Did you have a nickname growing up? Yes, I was called Cryssie and my grandpa would call me "Book NARD" because he couldn't say book NERD.  haha....YES, I was a book nerd growing up and I still am! :)

3. What was your favorite thing to do at recess?  Talking to my friends and doing gymnastics while everybody else played.

4. What did you want to be when you grew up? I always wanted to be a veterinarian.  I have a love for animals and thought that would be so neat.  When I got older, I realized that I would have a hard time seeing animals hurt.  I would be broken hearted all of the time in that field and I totally admire all in that field! 

5. What was your favorite toy? My strawberry shortcake doll and baby carriage!  You would squeeze her belly and strawberry smell would come out of her mouth! Sounds sick but I LOVED her!!!!  My mommy still has her in the closet with my barbies (which are my second favorite toy as a child) :)

 

6. What is the funniest thing you did as a kid that your parents still remind you about? Funniest thing that we talk about isn't really about what I did but what my sister did TO me.....she shaved a "P", for Peggy, on my head as soon as I started growing hair.  Haha....
