Give Grace On This Mother's Day

Today, I give grace to myself. After multiple miscarriages, infertility and PCOS I have spent many days feeling less of a woman and feeling forgotten. For some, Mother's Day is a joyful day filled with amazing love and memory making. For others, it's a day of pain and a reminder of loss.
Today, I stand with women who have lost their mother, lost a child, experienced miscarriage and/or infertility. Today, I give grace to myself. I embrace my journey and know that God is holding my hand each day that passes. I embrace my story and I embrace my pain. This pain has brought me to a place of complete trust in Him and has brought me in complete awe of His love for me. Each time I start to feel less than a woman, He reminds me that I am a strong woman embraced with a crown of beauty and love.
What do you need grace for today? Who do you need to give grace to?
Give Grace Freely...
and
Give grace to yourself freely.....

Clash Of Kingdoms By Charles Dyer & Mark Tobey - Four Stars

If you're like me, I am fascinated with the end times and apocalypse. Any time somebody brings up the relationship between current events and scripture, my ears are wide open! In this case, my eyes were wide open and I could not put this book down. Clash Of Kingdoms is a fascinating book that relates things going on in the world today and what the Bible says about the end times. If you are a Christian and want to understand how today's events are extremely parallel to scripture then you need to pick up this book. Charles Dyer and Mark Tobey do a phenomenal job at interpreting scripture and what's going on in Middle Eastern current events.

This book has a smooth flow to it, which makes it easy to read. Scripture is used throughout the book so there isn't room to question much. I encourage any Christian interested in the end times, current events, Middle Eastern current events or the apocalypse to pick this book up and read it! You will learn and be challenged to really think about what's going on in this world today. Interesting stuff, that's for sure!

Playing For The Save By Rachelle Ayala - Four Stars

Baseball, autism awareness and a love story that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy....what more could you ask for in a novel? Playing For The Save, written by Rachelle Ayala is a warm book that pulled on my heart strings about a handsome baseball player named Ryan and a divorced single mother named Jamie. Jamie isn't your typical single mother. She is a mother who is dealing with extreme emotional abuse from her ex-husband while raising two boys, one who is autistic. Jamie is an excellent mother who loves and cares for her boys deeply. Ryan is attracted to this and is eager to be a part of Jamie's life. He has a desire to take care of her and the boys and makes no secret of how he feels. Jamie is scared but Ryan isn't going to give up.

With lots of ups and downs, including a crazy ex-husband, this couple and the kids navigate through it all. This book will both warm your heart and keep you captivated and invested in the story. Not only will you be left with a warm fuzzy feeling in your heart but you will be aware of  what autism can bring. This book provides an amazing outlet to bring awareness to autism and the challenges families can face. This book is a must read!

You can purchase this on Amazon and don't forget to leave your review when you are done!

Playing Catch (A Baseball Romance) (Men of Spring Baseball Series Book 3)
On the field and off the field, bartender Jeanine Jewell plays, collecting one-night stands like baseball cards. She doesn’t need a man, except to curl her toes and make her scream. She’s learned the hard way that love is about control and manipulation—and the last thing she can handle is letting herself be vulnerable, or having anyone discover her shameful secret.

Scoring women is easy for catcher Kirk Kennedy—they don’t call him “Catch and Release” for nothing. He never goes back for a repeat performance. Being traded to a new city is an opportunity for new adventures—until he runs into Jeanine and she refuses to go home with him.

Intrigued, Kirk is determined to catch the elusive blonde and keep her to himself. When he proposes a wingman-to-wingwoman, friends-without-benefits relationship, he’s surprised she accepts.

The no-benefits clause soon falls by the wayside when neither Jeanine or Kirk can resist their explosive chemistry. Despite the sparks between the sheets, they both refuse to acknowledge they’re anything more than friends.

Everything changes when Kirk discovers someone from his past is the one Jeanine is hiding from.

Trigger Warning: The heroine was sexually abused by her foster father and has flashbacks.
